Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service for an inbound call center
- Accurately documents all calls in the required application.
- Consistently achieve key indicators and performance standards, including caller satisfaction ratings.
- Provides our customers with quality service by following the defined processes and procedures.
- Reads and retains information from memorandums, website and training materials to effectively service customers.
- Participates in ongoing on-the-job training. This may include one-on-one sessions with members of management and peer coaching.
- Elaboration of minimum requirements
- Excellent English oral and written skills with neutral accent a mandatory requirement.
- Think and respond in real time and creatively problem solve without having to be scripted.
- Strong customer service focus with ability to handle irate and rude callers with a calm professional manner.
- Ability to show empathy and be persuasive.
- Listen and type at the same time with typing skills (25WPM / 80% accuracy).
- Ability to control the call with an even disposition.
- Strong listening skills.
- Good follow up skills.
- Should be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and the Internet.
- Ability to handle multiple projects at once and to make quick decisions.
- Must be flexible, receptive to change, and have the ability to adapt quickly to changing business requirements.
- Physical Demands: Required to talk on the phone with customers for extended periods of time and is required to type repetitively for extended periods of time.
