Job Description

The National Law University, Delhi is seeking to engage full-time and part-time Consultants to work on a project regarding telecommunication laws in India on a four (4) months contractual basis from March – June, 2021.

1.Name of the Post: Consultants

2. Qualifications: a) Graduate with degrees in law and public policy.

b) Preference will be given to candidates with an advance degree in law/ public policy or 2 or more years of work experience.

c) Previous experience of working on issues of telecom law/ competition law/ law and economics will be desirable.

3.Remuneration: The remuneration will commensurate with qualifications and experience and be between Rs. 40,000 – 80,000 per month depending on the experience and the mode of engagement.

4.Role and Responsibilities: The Consultants will undertake legal research on various aspects of telecommunication laws in India, primarily the Indian Telegraph Act. The research will include analyzing the current laws and cases and also undertake comparative research on telecommunication laws of other countries, and suggest potential legal and policy changes.
