Content Managers job position in All India Radio (Prasar Bharati) on fixed term monthly contract basis
No. of Post : 03 (English, Hindi and Urdu)
Qualification : a) A PG Degree in Journalism/ Mass Communication/ PR from a recognised University/ Institution with social media as one of the subjects. b) Minimum 2 years experience in writing creative/news and current affairs content in English/Hindi/Urdu languages for Website/Digital media. c) They should be aware of current affairs and have ability to independently update websites on daily basis besides updating the social media like Twitter and Facebook. d) Ability to translate from English to Urdu/Hindi and vice versa (For candidates applying for Urdu and Hindi language' Content Manager). e) Ability to type scripts independently on computer in the respective language for which the candidate is applying.
Desirable: a) Experience of working in newspapers/news agencies/radio/television organisation b) Experience in the areas of web designing
Emoluments: Rs.25,000/- p.m. consolidated.
Age: Below 40 years
Place of work: External Service Division, All India Radio,
New Delhi. The Applicant should be residing in NCR Delhi.
Procedure for selection: Candidates fulfilling the eligibility
conditions shall be called for a written test in which, their ability to write
content for web, familiarity with news and current affairs, language skill etc.
shall be tested. Candidates securing above 60% marks in the written test shall
then be called for an interview. Final selection shall be done on the basis of
the overall/combined performance in the written -as well as interview.
