Job Description
Your primary focus will be writing content in the form of short tips articles, long blog posts, white paper and presentations covering a specific topic area.
• You will be given a detailed understanding of the product, the market as well as the overall segment so you have a full understanding of the topic area. You will also be provided with sample content and a guide to related content to get up to speed quickly. Your role will involve:
• Researching specific topic areas to gain a full understanding of the space.
• Researching the most important keywords for SEO around the topic you are writing on.
• Write short, long as well as medium length articles and blog posts that are search optimized
• Experiment with titles to make them social media friendly
• Post content and track its performance based on traffic
• Build and manage your content writing calendar based on requirements
• Report and communicate weekly metrics.
• Strong written and oral English communication skills
• A degree in English / Journalism or a related field
• Knowledge of content writing for online and offline worlds
• Knowledge of keyword and content optimization for search engines
• Previous experience in content writing is preferable
