Position Title: Technical Content Writer    

Role:   Technical / Content Writer would need to have at least 3 – 5 years of experience

Job Description:

Responsibilities:  

•  Will develop and edit user interface content including on-screen and Support content, create project and site-wide terminology and style guides, and conduct walkthrough presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  
•  Develop new product support literature packages from product design documentation and information provided by subject matter experts in the engineering and service functions.
  
•  Using material gathered from internal and external sources, create and/or modify existing web content using the CMS.
  
•  Ensure all content is proofread for error-free publishing.
  
•  Responsibility also includes using the site content management system to develop and publish content on the company website.
  
•  Write / Edit product related documents and develop new ideas for web content
  
•  Write and update Marketing / Sales flyers on the latest digital ad formats
  
•  Work with multiple teams to translate/update technical content into user-friendly English
  
•  Expert in Technical/Computer Content Development & its life cycle process /Updates/ Regular changes etc.
  

Technical Skills Required:

•  Must have experience with Word, Publisher, Visio, HTML, PDF, Snaglt, and Web enabled products
  
•  Desktop publishing experience including Frame Maker, Quark Xpress and Adobe InDesign
  
•  Excellent oral and written communication skills
  
•  Strong analytical, planning, organizational, and time management skills; strong research skills including gathering and analyzing data from multiple sources (subject matter experts, project managers) to develop Web content, and possibly training materials and online help content
  

Qualification:

•  Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications and proficient with IT/Computer Systems & Science
  
•  Or MA Literature with IT/Computer Systems & Science Writing experience

Experience  :      3-5 Yrs
