Job Description

The Key requirements & responsibilities for a Social Media Specialist would be as follows:

Working Knowledge & experience in planning, managing and executing Social Media initiatives.
Monitoring and Analysing Social Media trends across the world and their impact on brands.
Assist with creating, managing and growing business presence across social media channels.
Assist in review of user generated comments, posts and respond appropriately to foster a positive community.
Communicate and coordinate with Client Management Team and provide inputs from time to time on Social media.
Lead strategy development and execution of social media campaigns that supports and extends inbound marketing initiative, both short and long term and evaluate results;
Oversee all social media activities to ensure a coordinated, unified message and presence across tactics and businesses (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, blogs and other social media activities yet to be identified and pursued);
Provide strategic messaging through social media to support the overall client's brand and key initiatives;
Lead content programs through multi-channel management: social, web, mobile, email, and paid;
Ensure all digital content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice, and optimized for search and user experience for all channels of content including online, social media and email;
Lead efforts to build online communities for clients; acquire, retain and engage audiences; and coordinate online campaigns;
Develop standards, systems and best practices (both human and technological) for content creation, distribution, maintenance, content retrieval and content repurposing, including the real-time implementation of content strategies;
Plan social campaigns by recommending budget, targeting, audience demographic, and social content to create compelling stories that result in conversions;
Work cross-functionally with content teams, event planners, and third-party vendors (including copyeditors and branding/communications vendors) to ensure that time-sensitive materials are developed, reviewed, and ready for public consumption on schedule;
Create content and manage editorial calendars to ensure continuous and optimized presence across all platforms, including social, mobile, email, web, and third-party sites
Property set-up, revisions and design (i.e. Facebook Page cover images, profile pic, thumbnails, ads, contents, Twitter backgrounds, etc.);
Ensure key metrics and KPIs are identified for annual programs and specific campaign
Track target audience activity on social media channels -- plan and execute strategies to engage and convert them;
Analyze, review and report on effectiveness of campaigns in order to evaluate and demonstrate ROI, maximize results and refine future strategic planning, driving continuous improvement;
Manage paid campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and other social sites by promoting content and managing budgets.
