Content Writer Jobs - Mumbai - MasterTech Web Applications LLP

An established, growing web applications & publishing company is seeking a highly energetic front-end Content Developer with exposure in HTML, CSS & good communication skills to work with us to create, organize, deploy and audit content to our websites (using Wordpress CMS). The work will include creating/publishing/auditing unique content, SEO-optimized content pages and liaising with other content writers for managing copyrighting work.

Responsibilities:

• Build/develop, deploy, update, audit content pages on our website(s) following HTML/CSS standards and maintain the style of the site(s)

• Work on deploying ad copies, graphics, and media (text, image and video) - for increasing site visibility and for advertising needs.

• Get specific external freelance copyrighted content written, audited and published on our web properties.

• Occasionally write short blog posts/one-liners on any given topic, create compelling content for Social Media platforms & develop compelling banner and other such multimedia content to go with the content.

Requirements and Primary Skills:

• BSc IT, BE or BTech in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related field of study.

• Good English communication skills (both verbal and written) & strong attention to detail.

• A self-starter with an ability to solve problems works quickly, independently and with small teams - in a fast paced environment.

• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

• Working knowledge of HTML/XHTML and CSS.

Preferred Skills:

• Working knowledge of Wordpress CMS.

• Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization standards and procedures.

• Exposure in Photoshop and other such tools for banner creation and similar will be added advantage.

• Preferred knowledge of MS Excel (filters, charts, pivot tables).
