Eligibility  :  The applicant should possess  

M.Sc./M.Sc. (Ag.) + N.E.T. in relevant subject

M.Tech. + N.E.T. in relevant subject.

In subject of basic engineering, qualification of Ph.D./N.E.T. is waved off

For English, applicant must have Master degree in English with at least 55% marks and must have cleared NET/SLET/SET

For Assistant Librarian, Master Degree in Library Science/ Information Science/ Documentation Science or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55% marks with NET/SLET/SET is required. 

For Assistant Professor Computer Science, Master degree in relevant subject with at least 55% marks with NET/SLET/SET is required.

For Sports Officer, Master degree in Physical Education/ Sports Science with at least 55% marks with NET/SLET/SET is required.

For Yoga Teacher, Master degree in Yoga with at least 55% marks with NET/SLET/SET is required.

NET/SLET/SET shall not be required in disciplines where such examination is not organized.

Applicant with Ph.D. in the relevant subject without N.E.T. can also be considered as per guidelines of U.G.C/I.C.A.R. in all the subjects.

Remuneration :  The remuneration/honorarium to teacher(s) so appointed should be Rs. 1,300/- per day which should not exceed to Rs. 35,000/- (Rs. Thirty Five Thousand) maximum per month. In basic engineering subject qualification of Ph.D. /N.E.T. is waved off and Rs. 1,000 per day, maximum to Rs. 30,000 per month will be paid. No other emoluments will be paid to the contractual teachers.
