Job requirements
- Excellent writing skills. The ability to write, lucid, engaging copy is essential
- Ability to multitask in a *very* fast-paced news environment.
- S/he will also be expected to jump fast on hints of breaking news and build a file of initiative stories.
- 1-6 years' experience
Day-to-Day responsibilities
- Write, edit and publish stories in accordance with company's style guide
- Analyse trending stories and social media networks to gauge stories of interest to Opoyi
- Optimise content using SEO best practices
This is a shift based job and the Opoyi team runs seven days a week. Each team member will be entitled to two days off per week and the job could often involve late nights and/or early starts to cover global events.
The position is based out of New Delhi.
