Continually raise the bar on creativity, writing fresh copy that connects with the target audience and drives action

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of communication and related industry trends
Stay updated on appropriate style guidelines and brand voice for consistency in messaging

Responsibilities

Develop weekly and monthly calendar with the content team for social media channels
Conceptualise marketing campaigns to promote brand awareness and sale events
Write original copy and edit content for a range of marketing, communications materials, website content, social media copy and performance ad copy
Collaborate with graphic designers to bring a creative idea to life. From concept development to delivery of final product
Write scripts for youtube videos and conceptualise creative treatments for the video
Revise copy based on internal and client feedback/direction

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in journalism, English, communications, or related discipline
Minimum 4-5 years professional copy writing experience with solid portfolio of work
Exceptional writing and research skill
Ability to work independently and with a team to meet deadlines
Excellent organisational skill and multitasking ability
Social media or content marketing experience a plus
Proofreading experience and familiarity with standard style guides a plus
Experience working with content management systems, WordPress, etc.
A keen eye for detail and appreciation of great design
