Copywriter
Bengaluru, Karnataka, India
Responsibilities:
- Write a clear, attractive copy with a distinct voice.
- Interpret copywriting briefs to understand project requirements and target audience
- Collaborate with designers, PR and other professionals on large- and small-scale marketing projects (e.g. social posts, ad creatives and landing pages).
- Edit and proofread copy as needed and writing / modifying (A/B testing) various copy options until we meet the desired engagement from the target audience.
- Use SEO principles to maximize the copy’s reach.
Experience and Education:
- 2-3 years of experience as a copywriter or related role, preferably with a B2B company.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
- BSc/BA in marketing, English, journalism or related field.
Skills:
- Understanding of brand, logo, and regulatory compliance.
- Creativity and collaborative spirit.
- Good planning, interpersonal, negotiation, and communication (verbal and written) skills.
- Ability to multi-task with multiple deadlines and/or milestone requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, including proofreading, copy editing and maintaining design consistency.
- A willingness to embrace change and adapt to new strategies on the fly.
- Continually learn the latest platforms, technology, tools, and marketing solutions.
- Energetic and able to work in a highly dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of SEO and paid advertising is preferable.
