About Aambra Foundation

Aambra Foundation is a Government of India registered nonprofit organization, approved under section 80G of Income Tax Act 1961. Aambra came into formal inception in the year 2012. Although it had been actively engaged in championing women's causes for quite some time. The Foundation has conducted several national level seminars; and consumer awareness and skill development workshops in New Delhi, free of cost, towards the wider objective of women empowerment through information dissemination and skill development. The foundation has been proactive in highlighting issues of contemporary relevance for the common Indian and also the government, bureaucracy, media, and civil society.

About the work from home job/internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Encouraging clients to discuss emotions and experiences
2. Developing therapeutic processes and coping mechanisms to help patients through tough situations
3. Providing mental health assessments, counseling, referrals, and intervention services
4. Conducting reviews as needed throughout the duration of the treatment

Note: We are looking for a skilled counselor to help provide direction and support to all our patients.

Stipend: 5000/- for three months

Who can apply

Only those candidates can apply who:

1. are available for the work from home job/internship

2. can start the work from home job/internship between 23rd Aug'20 and 27th Sep'20

3. are available for duration of 3 months

4. have relevant skills and interests

* Women wanting to start/restart their career can also apply.

Other requirements

1. Must be willing to work 6 days a week for 6 hours a day

2. Must have a Bachelor's/Master's degree in psychology, social work, or counseling

3. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills

4. Must have good time management skills

5. Candidates with experience of supervised practice under a licensed professional would have an added advantage

Additional Information

An evaluation process will be carried out at the end of each month for each volunteer and any violation of organization rules will lead to discontinuation of the role.
