JOB DESCRIPTION FOR THE ROLE OF COUNSELOR

Customized responsibilities:

Calling candidates, giving them company and product knowledge, convincing them to come down for the counseling
Receiving counselees in a proper manner, finding the counselees’ educational needs
Giving the counselees an exact/approximate product/solution based on their needs
Responsible for responding back with satisfactory answers for counselees’ queries/dissatisfaction
Convincing and converting enquiries into prospects then enrollments

Following up candidates not turned into enrollments

Regularly reporting to senior/center manager/who so ever is your reporting head

Making reports regularly on counseled candidates, walk-ins, prospects, enrolments, dropouts, reasons for product denial/discontinuity and communication of the same to reporting head etc.

Common responsibilities:

Coordinating with the superior/peer/subordinates/HR for smooth functioning
Obeying the instructions of the superior/management
Regularly updating changes in course, fee, course duration, etc. from the superior/management
Coordinating with other team members in relation with students’ issues in fee collection, counseling, course, discontinuity and other student/enrollment issues
Periodical report generation and communication of the same to superior/manager/HR
Responsible for center possessions
Responsible for theft, mess and any other problem arising at center/branch
