Research Associates(RA)/ Senior Research Fellows (SRF) Jobs opportunity in Central Research Institute for Dryland Agriculture (CRIDA) on contract basis
Project: ‘Updating the District based Agricultural Contingency Plans'
Research Associate/ 2Posts
Eligibility: Master’s Degree in any of the following subjects with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor's degree having First Division or 60%marks or equivalent overall grade point average with at least 2 years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/ Associateship/Training/other engagements as circulated vide F.No. 2-9/2012-HRD dated 25.04.2014. Agronomy , Soil Science ,Agricultural Engineering with specialization in Soil & Water Conservation Engineering/ Irrigation and Drainage Engineering / Land and Water Management Engineering, Horticulture, Remote sensing and GIS Candidates with Published research papers are desirable.
Pay Scale: Rs.38000
Eligibility: Doctoral Degree in any of the subjects mentioned above. Candidates with Published research papers are desirable.
Pay Scale: Rs.40,000
SRF/2 Posts
Eligibility: Master’s Degree in any of the following subjects with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor's degree. Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor's degree and 2 years Master's degree should have NET qualification as mentioned in the OM SR/S9/Z-09/2012 of DST dated 21.10.2014 Agronomy , SoilScience , Agricultural Engineering with specialization in Soil & Water Conservation Engineering/ Irrigation and Drainage Engineering / Land and Water Management Engineering , Horticulture , Remote sensing and GIS
Pay Scale: Rs.25,000/-plus Applicable HRA for 1 st&2nd year Rs.28,000/-plus Applicable HRA for 3 rd year onwards.
Age limit: RA: The candidate age should be maximum 40 years for men and 45 years for women as on 21st September 2016. SRF: 35 years for men and 40 years for women as on 21st September 2016.

Central Research Institute for Dryland Agriculture (CRIDA) at Hyderabad in 1985 to embark upon lead and strategic research in dryland agriculture leaving location/region specific problems and their solutions to AICRPDA. The organizational set-up of CRIDA is shown below. With the launching of the National Agricultural Technology Project (NATP) by the Council during the year 1998, CRIDA was further strengthened with the responsibility of planning and coordinating research on a production system mode under the rainfed agro-eco system.
