SRF/ Research Associate Soil Science Job vacancies in Central Research Institute for Dryland Agriculture (CRIDA)
Name of the Project: National Innovations in Climate Resilient Agriculture (NICRA) sanctioned up to March, 2017.
Research Associate (RA)
Essential: M.Sc. (Ag) specialization in Soil Science/Agronomy/ Environmental Sciences / M Tech in Soil & Water Conservation/ M.Sc. (Environmental Sciences) Desirable: Two years work experience in field studies, statistical analysis of data, documentation and report writing related to above subjects.
Pay Scale : Rs. 38,000 +30% HRA per month for post graduation candidates (or) Rs. 40,000 + 30% HRA for Ph.D. candidates)
Senior Research Fellow (SRF)
Essential: M.Sc. (Ag) specialization in Soil Science/Agronomy/ Environmental Sciences/ M Tech in Soil & Water Conservation/ M.Sc. (Environmental Sciences) Masters in Veterinary Sciences/ Masters in Horticulture/ M.Sc. or M Tech in GIS/ Remote Sensing/ Geo-informatics Desirable: Experience in field studies, statistical analysis of data, documentation and report writing related to above subjects .
Pay Scale : *Rs.25,000 +30% HRA per month for 1st and 2nd Yr; Rs.28,000 + 30% HRA for 3rd Yrs
Please note that the applicant needs to have a Master’s degree Agriculture/ Veterinary or relevant subjects with 4 years /5 years of Bachelor’s degree. Candidates having postgraduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree should have NET qualification.
Age limit: RA: The candidate age should be maximum 40 years for men and 45 years for women as on 6 September 2016 (relaxable to SC/ST/ OBC/ PH as per Govt of India rules).
SRF: 35 years for men and 40 years for women as on 6 September 2016 (relaxible to SC/ST/ OBC/ PH as per Govt of India rules).

Central Research Institute for Dryland Agriculture (CRIDA) at Hyderabad in 1985 to embark upon lead and strategic research in dryland agriculture leaving location/region specific problems and their solutions to AICRPDA. The organizational set-up of CRIDA is shown below. With the launching of the National Agricultural Technology Project (NATP) by the Council during the year 1998, CRIDA was further strengthened with the responsibility of planning and coordinating research on a production system mode under the rainfed agro-eco system.
