Note 1: CCPP associates values of 'hard work' and 'deferred gratification' with 'high rewards'. The principal aim of this fellowship is to identify and select high-performance employees for the post of Assistant Criminologist, after the completion of 12-months. The fellows must see this time as an opportunity to build their publication record, boost their visibility, and gain extensive skills in criminal justice public policy. Also, CCPP is an incredible place to get your first taste of policy research, and at the same time, develop practical intelligence in putting ideas to work. That way, it is expected that applicants embrace modesty and demonstrate willingness to learn (simply put, this fellowship is not meant for those people who dislike challenges and inconveniences, and simply want to dabble in criminology). One may learn the depth of our research and outreach activities (through visiting CCPP's website) before applying for the fellowship.
