1. Sub Inspector (RO) (Group B)

Qualification : Bachelor degree or Equivalent from a recognized University with Mathematics and Physics, or Computer Science as subjects.
2. Sub Inspector (Crypto) (Group B)
No. of Posts : 04
Qualification : Bachelor degree or Equivalent from a recognized University with Mathematics and Physics as subjects.
3. Sub Inspector (Technical) (Group B)
No. of Posts : 04
Qualification : B.E./ B.Tech. or Equivalent in Electronics or Telecommunication or Computer Science as main subject (OR) Qualified Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers or Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers.
4. Assistant Sub Inspector (Technical) (Group C)
No. of Posts : 121
Qualification : 10th (Matric) Class pass from recognized Board with three years diploma in Radio Engineering or Electronics or Computers from a recognized Institute. (OR) B.Sc. Degree with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized University.
Desirable : Preference will be given to those trained in Software or Hardware of the computers.
5. Assistant Sub Inspector (Draughtsman) (Group C)
No. of Posts : 04
Qualification : Pass in Matric with English, General Science and Mathematics from a recognized board with three years Diploma in Draughtsman (Civil/Mechanical Engineering) from a Govt, recognized Polytechnic.
Age Limit : Candidates age should be below 30 years for post 1, 2, 3, between 18-25 years for post 4, 5 as on 02-04-2016.
Physical Standards : (Relaxation as per GOI Rules)
Height : Male candidate - 170 Cms, Female candidates -157 Cms
Chest: 80 Cms for male candidate only and minimum expansion 5 Cms.
Weight: Proportionate to height and age as per medical standards.
Selection Process : Candidates will be selected based on physical efficiency test, physical standard test, written test, screening of testimonials/ documents, medical examination.

The Central Reserve Police Force came into existence as Crown Representative’s Police on 27th July 1939. It became the Central Reserve Police Force on enactment of the CRPF Act on 28th December 1949. It has completed 60 years of glorious history. The Force has grown into a big organization with 207 Bn, (including 181 executive Bns, 2 Mahila Bns, 10 RAF Bns, 6 CoBRA Bns, 2 DM (NDRF) Bns, 5 Signal Bns and 1 Special Duty Group), 37 Group Centres, 11 Training Institutions, 2 CWS, 7 AWS, 3 SWS, 4 Composite Hospitals of 100 bed and 17 Composite Hospitals of 50 bed.
