Project Staff recruitment in Central Scientific Instruments Organization (CSIO) on contract/temporary basis

1. GAP Project “Design and Development of Electrostatic Nozzle for Agricultural Applications”

Project Assistant Level II/ 01 Post

Essential Qualification: 1 st class B.E. / B.Tech. in Electronics/ Instrumentation/ Electronics and Communication/Mechanical Design or equivalent 4. Desirable: 1 st class M.E. / M. Tech. in Electronics/ Instrumentation/ Electronics and Communication / VLSI Design / Mechanical Design and Analysis or equivalent4. . Experience in Electronics/ Instrumentation / VLSI Design / Embedded System / Mechanical Design and Analysis.

2. GAP Project “Optical Fibre Nano-Antenna Assisted Submicron Resolution Common Path Optical Coherence TomographyIns trumentation”

JRF /01 Post

Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in Physics/ Electronic Sciences/Applied Physics/ Applied Optics or equivalent4 with valid GATE/ NET in relevant field or M.E. / M.Tech. in Applied Optics/ Optoelectronics/ Photonics or equivalent4 .

Desirable: Work experience on handling of Optical Fiber, Light Coupling of Fiber and Knowledge of Computer Programming.

3. GAP Project “Pilot Implementation of Collaborative Digital Diagnosis System (CollabDDS) using Medical Imaging”

Scientist B (NonMedical) / 01Post

Essential Qualification: Master’s degree in Computer Applications/Information Technology/ Computer Science or equivalent or B.E/B.Tech. degree in Computer Science and Engineering/Information Technology/Software Engineering or equivalent from a recognized university with two years’ experience Or 1 st class M.E./M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering/Information Technology/Software Engineering or equivalent4 from a recognized university. Or 2 nd class Master’s degree + Ph.D. degree in Computer Science /Information Technology/Software Engineering or equivalent4 from a recognized university. Desirable:- Knowledge of Linux/RDBMS/SQL/JavaFX/J2EE/ RESTfull Web Services/Maven/HTML5/ Android/Eclipse IDE

4. MLP Project “Development of Water Quality Monitoring Watchdog pod”

Project Assistant Level II /02 Posts

Essential Qualification: B.Tech with 55% in Electronics or equivalent

Desirable: M.Tech in Nanotechnology/ Electronics/ Instrumentation, preferably with Sensor Designing and Development and experience in relevant field of 6 months or more after essential qualification.

5. GAP Project “Design & Development of Low Cost Air Conditioner Efficiency Meter (ACE Meter)”

JRF and Project Assistant Level II (PA) /01Post

JRF: B.E./B.Tech. in Electronics/ Electronics and Communication/ Electronics and Instrumentation/ Instrumentation and Control or equivalent4 with valid GATE/ NET score OR M.E./M.Tech. in Electronics/ Electronics and Communication/ Electronics and Instrumentation/ Instrumentation and Control or equivalent

For PA: 1 st class B.E./B.Tech. in Electronics/ Electronics and Communication/ Electronics and Instrumentation/ Instrumentation and Control or equivalent4 Desirable: Candidates with experience in the research laboratory in above field shall be preferred

The upper age limit for Project Assistant Level II is 28 years, for Junior Research Fellow is 28 years and for Scientist B (Non-Medical) is 35 years.

Stipend : amount will be Rs.8,000/- for Project Assistant, Level II (PA) for Project mentioned at Sr. No. 1 in below mentioned table and Rs.25000/- + HRA for Project Assistant, Level II (PA) for Projects mentioned at Sr. No. 4 & 5 in below mentioned table, Rs.25,000/- + HRA for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Rs.43,470/- + HRA [@20% of the Rs. 15,600+Rs. 5400] for Scientist B (Non-Medical).
