Recruitment Against Cultural Quota In Central Railway For The Year 2017-18

A) Academic Qualification : Passed 12th (+2 stage) OR its equivalent examination with not less than 50% Marks in the aggregate. 50% marks is not to be insisted upon in case of SC / ST / Ex-servicemen OR Passed Matriculation plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship OR Passed Matriculation plus ITI approved by NCVT/SCVT. Note: 1) Diploma in Engineering will not be considered as an alternative higher qualification. 2) Persons if appointed to the category of Clerk- cum- Typist should acquire Typing proficiency of 30 w.p.m. in English or 25 w.p.m. in Hindi within a period of two years from the date of appointment and till such time their appointments to this category will be provisional.
B) Professional Qualification : Essential 1) Possession of degree / diploma / certificate in music / dance / drama etc. from Government recognized Institute. Desirable 1) Experience in the field and performance given on All India Radio / Doordarshan etc. 2) Prizes won at National Level.
Pay Scale : Rs. 21,700 - 69,100 / 19,900 - 63,200
Age : The lower and upper age limit will be reckoned on 01/01/2018. 18 to 28 yrs
Examination Fee :
(i) For all candidates except those Rs.500/- (Rupees Five Hundred Only) mentioned in sub-para (ii) below (Non-Refundable)
(ii) For candidates belonging to SC/ Rs.250/- (Rupees Two Hundred Fifty ST/Ex-Servicemen/ Persons Only) with a provision for refunding the with same to those who are found eligible as Disability/Women/Minorities per notification and actually appear in the and Economically Backward Written Test. Candidates in this category Class** should check their eligibility thoroughly before applying. Fee in respect of candidates who are ineligible, but still apply, shall not be refunded.
Recruitment Process : The recruitment will be based on the Written Test, followed by a Practical Demonstration. The eligible candidates will be called for Written Test and those who qualify in the Written Test will be called for Practical Demonstration. The candidates, who are found eligible in all respects, will be considered on the following basis
