Safety Officer
Qualification: a) Possesses a 1st Class Degree in any branch of Engineering or Technology, and practical experience of working in any factory in a supervisory capacity for a period of not less than two years, or experience of not less than five years in training education, consultancy or research in accident prevention in any industry : or b) Possessesi) A 1st Class Degree in Physics or Chemistry or a 1st Class Diploma in any branch of Engineering or Technology: and ii) Practical experience of working in any factory in a Supervisory capacity for a period of not less than five years : and c) Possesses adequate knowledge of Marathi language. d) A Diploma in Industrial Safety from the recognized Institution.

Welfare Officer
Qualification: a) 1st class Graduate with Diploma or Master’s Degree course recognized by Maharashtra State, as per Maharashtra Welfare Officers (duties, qualifications and conditions of service) Rules,1966 (enclosed as Annexure –A) i.e. MSW/ MA(IP&PM)/ PG Diploma in Labour Welfare etc., and b) Enrolled in the list maintained by the Director, Industrial Safety & Health, Maharashtra, Mumbai for appointment of Welfare Officer in any Factory, and c) Possesses adequate knowledge of Marathi language. Experience: a) Minimum 2 years of postqualification experience in any industry/ Factory as Welfare Officer/Personnel Officer/HR Executive in HR or Welfare Dept.

Pay Scale : Rs.14500 - 32600 (IDA Pattern)
Examination Fee : Rs.200/-for all applicant and each post. (Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD/Ex-Servicemen are exempted from payment of application fees) The candidates belonging to General and OBC(NCL) category are required to pay application fees of Rs.200/- only. The applicants (wherever applicable) have to pay the application fees of Rs. 200/- online as per the method explained. Transaction charge (if any) levied by the bank for the payment of above application fees is to be borne by the applicants. Payment in any other manner will not be accepted and the applicant will be considered not eligible. Applicants paying lesser fees will also be not eligible. Fees once paid will not be refunded.
Selection Procedure: i)Selection for the posts will be done through written examination which will be conducted "Online", and will be of objective type. ii) The Objective type of online examination will consist of tests for: Professional knowledge (Safety, Health & Environment aspects –Factories Act 1948 & Maharashtra Factories Rules, 1963, etc.), General Awareness, English Language, Logical Reasoning , Quantitative Aptitude.
The online written examination will be held tentatively on 31.07.2016.
The online written Examination will be conducted at the following centres: 1) Nashik(Maharashtra) 2)Mumbai/Navi Mumbai/Greater Mumbai/Thane.
