Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a good understanding of hotstar’s value proposition, ad formats and self-serve platform for advertisers as well as the ecosystem of digital advertising. This will be oriented towards SMBs, startups and upcoming brands.
  • Set up and manage marketing drips for all leads acquired in CRM via digital marketing or organic routes. Work with Inside sales & analytics teams to establish and manage cadence of communication with different types of leads
  • End to end planning and execution for all email marketing campaigns, whether as part of drips, or to drive specific offerings or events on hotstar like IPL, India Cricket and more
  • Planning and execution of webinars and other content marketing routes to nurture and evangelize hotstar’s ad offering to the community of advertisers and agencies
  • Metrics oriented; use data and analytics to understand sales pipeline, conversion rates, and overall measure and impact results.
  • Focus on conversion from MQLs to SQLs, continuously improve drop-offs from top of funnel and enable repeat business from existing customers.

What to bring:

  • Post-graduate with 3-6 years of experience in B2B marketing from organizations offering SAAS or advertising sales; experience with driving email marketing and/or customer retention
  • Strong hands on experience on working and managing marketing automation platforms (Salesforce, Zoho, etc)
  • Strong understanding of 1x1 Marketing channels like email (deliverability, open rates etc), chat comms, sms platforms etc.
  • Good articulation and communication skills to drive the right messaging in a B2B sales environment
  • An understanding of digital marketing and advertising landscape will be an added advantage;  
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, startup environment; with the discipline to drive an iterative, data-driven approach
  • Analytical acumen paired with agile, entrepreneurial mindset and can-do attitude
  • Proven track record of generating leads and driving business
