It has been a constant endeavor of SISPL, since its inception in 2006, to address the concerns of the increasing training needs. Apart from the creation of customized training programs for the Information Technology (IT) and Information Technology Enabled Services (ITES) Sectors, SISPL’s focus has been directed towards crafting activities that contribute to skill enhancements and contribute considerably to the cause of social inclusion and providing social security.
The Education & Training Vertical (ETV) has concurrently developed Learning, Training and Certification Programs to supplement SISPL’s on-the-job training efforts in creation of a pool of certified professionals in the IT & ITES sectors. The ETV of SISPL contemplates creating Comprehensive Skill-Development Training programs in order enable learners to gain employable skills in the fields of Textiles, Apparel, Telecom, Electronics and Electrical sectors, to name a few.
SISPL has also created Non-Urban Human Resources Development Centres in various districts HQ’s & major talukas in the State of Karnataka, and offers end-to-end employability services starting from Market Research, Identification, Skill Assessment, Counseling, training and placements, so as to enable the non-urban youth gain employable skills. We propose commencing training programs in line with the guidelines of NSDC and its associated Sector Skills Councils across identified Districts in the State of Karnataka, where the Skill Based training program would be carried out.
