Job Description

  • First level infrastructure management support for all the mentioned equipment’s as per the assigned severity level.
  • In addition wherever applicable diagnosing the problem and getting the same resolved through respective vendors, as per the severity level assigned to it.
  • First level assistance to the users in the operation of PCs, Printers, Peripherals and software so that the users can perform their work smoothly.
  • Product level Support for installation and configuration on desktop Client for the following:
  • Operating System  Support (Windows 7/ 8/ 8.1/ 10/ XP/ Windows Server 2008/2012)
  • Resolving or getting resolved hardware related problems of Desktop/ Laptop/ Printers/ Peripherals of all the users.
  • As per Havells standardization policy of using same/ specific  versions of software throughout  the organization, whenever the directive comes from Corporate Office to change the versions, support for making such changes uniformly all the Locations and as desired by Havells.
  • A report in Havells respective office as per Havells office calendar & maintain Havells work culture.
  • Take care all IT assets and provide Level 1 support for Havells provided application & for as needed it works and software i.e. Operating System, Anti-Virus, MS Office, Mail, SAP etc. Also, ensure no any unauthorized software will be install in any of Havells assets.
  • An engineer will also provide necessary application and software support to Havells Dealer and Distributor via telephone, email and remote session and also open tickets with the central helpdesk.
  • In case Engineer needs to visit Havells Dealer/ Distributor, Resident Engineer will entitle for local conveyance, logging and boarding as per Havells tour and travel policy and need to settle at the local level.
  • An engineer will maintain complete records of IT asset, Network diagram in coordination with Havells respective location Commercial Heads and Havells Head office IT team.
  • The engineer will coordinate with OEM for all under warranty IT assets in case of any hardware failure.
  • An engineer will coordinate with Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) vendor for out of warranty IT assets in case of any hardware failure. On receipt of spare parts, resident engineer will replace the hardware at the site.
  • Engineer will coordinate with LAN and WAN service provider and ensure high network uptime
