We are looking for an energetic and motivated professional for a Customer Support Executive (Technical - L1/L2) position with a dual responsibility of product testing. The primary responsibilities include serving customers; resolving their concerns and problems about our software product. This responsibility will be coupled with product testing of customer reported issues and during product releases.
This position is on a shift basis. So the candidate's willingness to working night shifts will be crucial and definitive. Current night shifts (8 PM to 5 AM and 11 PMto 8 AM) are serviced from home. Shift timings are routinely changed to accommodate changing business needs.
Joining Period: Immediate to 30 days
Support Timings: 24x5, on 9-hr shift rotation basis
Required Skills:

Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).

Listening skills, to understand exactly what customers require.

Problem-solving skills.

Confidence, patience, politeness, tact and diplomacy, when dealing with difficult situations.

Creative thinking, to be able to come up with new ideas to improve customer service standards.

Good personal presentation, especially when interacting with customers on remote sessions.

Ability to work well under pressure.

Commitment to improving your customer service skills on an ongoing basis.

Required Technical Skills:

Basic knowledge of Windows/Linux Operating Systems and Databases.

Knowledge of PHP or any programming language will be an added advantage.

Basic concepts of how web-based applications work, networking, emails clients and protocols.

Knowledge of testing life cycle.

Responsibilities:

Provide email/chat-based support to customers. Sometimes WebEx sessions (voice-based) are necessary for resolving certain customer issues.

Take ownership of customer reported issues and follow-up through resolution. This might involve proactively taking remote sessions to analyze the issue.

Liasoning with product and engineering teams from time to time.

Provide timely updates to product team about customers issues and feature requests.

Testing the product during major/minor releases.

Testing the bug fixes and updating customers accordingly.
