Job Description
The Data & Reporting Analyst will work closely with the Ops Data Lead, the business and data teams (including external vendors) to support the delivery of business wide reporting to support operational functions. The Operations team embrace a culture of collaboration, improvement and learning. The team is responsible for all aspects of data within Operations - which includes the management of existing data, sourcing of new data and creative thinking around data that we need to build.
We are looking for someone who has had experience in the Financial Industry, preferably in a Data program. We are looking for an energetic candidate that has prior experience in the Financial Services industry and /or Data programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for:-
• Understand end user needs and influence the reporting development roadmap.
• Supporting daily ingestion of data.
• Evaluate current use cases, conduct gap analysis and identify opportunities for data and reporting development.
• Manage the innovation life cycle of the product from ideation & prototyping through to the translation of requirements to our Operations team.
• Partners with our Operations team to ensure our stakeholders are getting the maximum value out of analytics and insights.
• Build strong relationship with stakeholders like Technology and Data.
Skills Required:
• Ability to manage own workload and deliverables.
• 3+ years in a Data related role
• An understanding of the uses of data, data skills, and data tools.
• Expertise in working with data to query, be curious with data and have a sensible regard around data accuracy.
• Experience around data tools like SQL, Excel, Tableau, Jupyter, Presto
• Experience or prior exposure and understanding of data models.
• Strong problem solving aptitude and idea generation, with the ability to go from conceptualization to execution.
• Strong inter-personal skills with ability to forge strong relationships with key stakeholders
• Excellent oral and written executive-level communication and presentation skills.
• Effective organizational and project management skills.J.P.
