JOB SUMMARY:
DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Utilize proprietary systems to format, process, gather, clean, and analyze data and prepare for distribution
  
• Build, update, and maintain product interchange databases and files.
  
• Data Listings work requires extreme attention to detail and precision.
  
• Must have a basic understanding of American automotive car parts
  
• Automotive Knowledge - Someone that knows their way around an automobile, preferably a DIY-er that works on their own car, spends time posting on automotive forums, etc.
  
• Research automotive information for automotive technicians using factory service manuals, electronic media and manufacturers websites
  
• Strong Computer literacy and understanding of Windows OS, MS Office, O365, MS SQL, MS BI, Photoshop, with an aptitude for learning new software programs and applications
  
• Conduct internet search to determine the value of item in order to competitively price.
  
• Conducts research into competitive companies and stay abreast of market trends.
  
• Optimizes category and product listings on company’s and third party retail websites.
  
• Proficiency in Importing & exporting product listings, bulk uploading in Excel, CSV and XML files.
  
• Efficiently parsing data from existing html structures.
  
• Reformatting XML and CSV files from both excel and code.
  
• Listing content creation (title, bullet points, description, etc.) Write accurate, concise, and optimized product description for online marketplaces.
  

• Stay current with automotive industry trends, and apply them strategically.
  
• Superior communication skills, writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  
• Ability to Manage time and tasks to meet multiple deadlines in a fast-moving environment
  
• Familiarity with google search, keywords and SEO practices
  
• A collaborative mindset, active listening skills and a desire to learn and grow.
  
• Knowledge of HTML a plus
  
• Be able to work under minimum supervision.
  
• Proven experience with product specification and attribute
  
• Proven experience with spreadsheet data entry
  
• Ability to take large amounts of information and distill it to clear, concise, and creative descriptions.
  
• Possess a clear understanding of the importance of high quality work and accuracy and its impact on the customer's site experience
  
• E-commerce experience
