What You’ll Do

Developing, maintaining, and managing advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards and other BI solutions.
Performing and documenting data analysis, data validation, and data mapping/design.
Collaborating with teams to integrate new systems.
Conducting unit tests and developing database queries to analyze the effects and troubleshoot any issues.
Creating tools to store data within the organization.
Ensures comprehensive knowledge transition from development teams on new or modified applications moving to ongoing production support.
Seeks improvement opportunities in design, solution implementation approaches in partnership with development team for ensuring the performance and health of the BI platform.
Ensures timely and accurate escalation of issues to management
Responsible for communication related to any day to day issues and problem resolutions. Communication may include direct department management as well downstream/upstream application contacts and business partners.

Who you are

Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
4 – 6 years of relevant work experience Tableau. ▪ A solid understanding of SQL, rational databases, and normalization.
Proficiency in use of query and reporting analysis tools. ▪ Competency in Excel (macros, pivot tables, etc.)
Extensive experience in developing, maintaining and managing Tableau driven dashboards & analytics and working knowledge of Tableau administration/architecture.
Knowledgeable about various Tableau desktop features like advanced calculations, parameters, joins, blending, stories, dashboards, user based authentication etc
Well versed with the differences between various versions of Tableau Desktop, Server, managing tableau server sites, users, projects and access permissions.
Experience with Scrum or other Agile processes
Proven experience working with onshore/off shore support team.
Natural technical and functional curiosity
Tableau certified profile is major plus.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent demonstrable experience.
