Job Description
- We are on the look out for young and talented fresher graduates with excellent analytical and problem solving skills, more details are furnished below.
- Standard publications - Publishing content to various teams based on research data
- Index oversight - Daily monitoring of the complex indices
- Providing bespoke analyses and derivative strategies.
- Performing quantitative analysis on indices/events etc to determine impact.
- Back testing new strategies for the desk including testing tweaks requested by clients.
- Producing written material and publications for client distribution.
- At a later stage, generate derivatives trade ideas for the desk to evaluate.
- Degree with a quantitative discipline (BE/Btech with Masters/MBA in Maths/Statistics/Financial engineering is mandatory )
- Prior exposure/project work/internships in Index/Quants Research and equities/multi asset indices analytics, is important.
- Computer Skills: Basic programming skills on R/Matlab / VBA / C++ / Java.
- Must be able to flexibly respond to changes in priorities, be able to communicate results to a less-technical audience, work well in a team and be comfortable in a front office environment.
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills/Ability to express ideas via writing. Prior track record in writing marketing material/trade ideas for wider distribution will be advantageous.
