Your Role and Responsibilities
As DBA DB2 Engineer, you be working on open, dynamic, flexible, fun-spirited, collaborative environment and desire creative freedom to work on high performing teams.

Responsibilities:

• Work with clients to understand the scope and business requirements
• Build client relationships and manage delivery expectations
• Draft functional requirements
• Create detailed technical specifications
• Draft and update application documentation and runbooks
• Participate in technical discussions and decisions to improve the system
• Perform code reviews and conduct testing and change management
• Support User Acceptance Testing, training sessions and user demos
• Effectively investigate and troubleshoot escalated application issues
• Assist clients on application and data analysis queries
• Work with data providers to ensure upstream data requirements are met
• Conduct data analysis to ensure quality and alignment with upstream data sources
• Escalate production data issues to the providers

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Minimum 5+ years as DB2 Developer and DBA Exp in Application dev area
• Valid experience in DB2 development and understanding of indexes, query tuning, stored procs, views, partitioning
• Hands-on experience in scripting (Python or any) and knowledge of data warehousing.
• Experience on memsql / Greenplum and exposure to Banking and finance industry is preferred

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience on Big Data would be a plus
• You love collaborative environments that use agile methodologies to encourage creative design thinking and find innovative ways to develop with cutting edge technologies
• Ambitious individual who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals and with creative approach to work
• Intuitive individual with an ability to manage change and proven time management
• Proven interpersonal skills while contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Up-to-date technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications
