Who are we
looking for?
Oracle
Server DBA to support System DBA roles .
Technical Skills:
- Should have lead database projects end to endStrong experience in Oracle 11g/12c Database Migrations / upgrade
- Good knowledge in trouble shooting Database upgrade /performance issues
- Expert level knowledge in Database / SQL Tuning
- Strong experience with Oracle Data Guard in 12c R2 (preferred) or 11g R2 versions.
- Strong experience with Oracle RMAN backup/recovery methodologies.
- Strong experience in performance tuning skills in a very large database environment.
- Strong knowledge in Linux & performance tuning commands ( RHEL 7.x )
- Experienced with hands on experience in SQL Core DBA Skills of database monitoring, backup, recovery, installation, DB Creation/configuration performance tuning, DB patching & upgrades.
- Good knowledge & experience writing shell scriptsService/Customer orientation/ good communication skills are mandate.
- Experience in working in RAC/ASM/DB Flashback Ability to use SQL Trace and ASH/AWR reports to analyze results
- Good knowledge in storage I/O configuration and designHaving knowledge in 18c/19c new features Able to work well under stress, changing priorities, and time constraints (AEST timings).
- Having knowledge of ITIL practices like Change Management, Incident Management etc.
- Strong knowledge in Database refresh methodologies RMAN clone, expdp/impdp etc.
Additional Desired Skill set:
- Configure and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.
- Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end.
- Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems.
- Incident Management, Problem Management and Change Management is needed.
- Working Knowledge on MYSERVICE is added Plus.
- Oracle 18c /19c OCP certified.
- Knowledge in backup tools like HP Data protect etc.
