Demonstrator / Laboratory Assistant Job Opportunity At Mizoram University
Demonstrator (Weaving): (01 post)
Eligibility: Preferably Matriculation pass from a school under a recognized Board with Three years Diploma in Handloom Technology or Textile Technology or Three years Diploma in Handloom & Textile Technology or equivalent from a recognized institution and with minimum seven years practical experience in a weaving mill or handloom enterprise.
Must be well acquainted with weaving mechanism, cloth analysis and transfer of designs to point paper and loom.
The qualification is relaxable at the discretion of the Competent Authority in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
The appointment is on temporary basis for a maximum period of one year at a time and extendable at the discretion of the competent authority on remuneration Rs 20,000 per month.
Desirable: Experience of Teaching in a Government or recognized Institution.
Laboratory Assistant (weaving)/(01 post)
Eligibility: Preferably eighth standard pass or its equivalent from a school under a recognized Board with minimum five years practical experience in winding, warping and other operations related to weaving in a weaving mill or handloom enterprise.

Desirable: Advance certificate course or Short Term course in Weaving from a recognized Institute or Weavers’ Service Centres or Indian Institute of Handloom Technology.
Laboratory Attendant (Weaving)/(01 Post)
Eligibility: Preferably eighth standard pass or its equivalent from a school under a recognized Board with minimum three years experience in winding, warping and other operations related to weaving in a weaving mill or handloom enterprise.
The appointment is on temporary basis for a maximum period of one year at a time and extendable at the discretion of the competent authority on remuneration Rs 10,000 per month.
Office Assistant/ (01 Post)
Eligibility: Graduate from a recognized University (B.Com) with two years experience.
