No. of vacancies : Two (2) nos.
Location : USBRL Project, J&K
Deputation and Term of Deputation : 3 year normal term of deputation. The deputation period in no case will exceed five (05) years.
Term of Appointment : Deputation
Scale of Pay : SG in 7th CPC Pay Matrix Level-13.(as per 6th CPC PB-4, Rs.37400-67000 with GP Rs.8700/-) or JAG, in 7th CPC Pay Matrix Level-12 (as per 6 th CPC PB-3, Rs.15600-39100 with GP Rs.7600/-)
Pay and Allowances : The officer will draw pay which would have been admissible to him/her from time to time on the Railways plus deputation (duty) allowance. 9
Eligibility, Experience and Specific Requirements, if any. : Eligibility: IRSE Officer working in PML-13 of 7 th CPC or Civil Engineering Executives working in other PSU in IDA scale E-6 (Rs.90,000 - 2,40,000) OR Officers of IRSE cadre of Indian Railways and working in PML-12 of 7th CPC with two years experience in level-12 or Civil engineering Executives working in PSU in E 5 (Rs.80,000 - 2,20,000)
Experience: Minimum working experience of 10 years of service in Group A or Executive cadre of CPSUs, out of which at least three years’ experience should be in Planning, Execution, Design, DPR, Detailed Engineering Contract & Project Management of Large scale infrastructure Project of Railways including construction of Bridge, Tunnel and station Building etc.
Job Description : Deputy Chief Engineer/Project is the Engineering-in-charge for the assigned works. Planning, Estimation, BOQ, Execution of work. Preparation of Tender documents, Invitation of Tender and its finalization. Contract Management. Construction of Bridges/Tunnel/Station Building, approach road/feeder road etc. Construction of PSC slab /girder, open web through girder, composite steel girder, Foundation, Substructure, Superstructure. Ensuring quality and safety of the assigned work. Dealing Arbitration/Court cases related to construction works. Liaison with State/Local Authorities/Railway Board Officials. Training & motivation to subordinate officers and staff. Monitoring and proper utilization of manpower. Ensure various Labour laws in force. Any other works as assigned from time to time
The date to which KRCL is exempted from the rule of immediate absorption : Three years w.e.f. 01.05.2019
Retention of Railway accommodation during deputation tenure in KRCL : Retention of Railway accommodation is permissible as per Board’s guidelines issued from time to time.
Perks and Benefits : The officer will draw pay which would have been admissible to him/her from time to time on the Railway plus deputation (duty) allowance
