Applications are invited for filling up 7th post or Deputy Director Gcncral (Admin.) in the pay scale at Level-1 5 or Pay Matrix or 7th CPC on deputation basis in Indian Council of ForesTry Research and Education (ICFR E). DehraDun in pay scale indicated against the post with allowances as admissible under.

Essential Qualifications: A candidatc having First Class Master Degree in Basic Scienccs/Agrictture/Forcstry/Managcmcnt/Social Sciences from a recognized University with 26 years or service with rcrcrcncc to thc date or appointment as Group 'A' Scientist. and who has 15 years expericnce in Forestry Rcscarch/Extension or Educations.

Desirable Qualifications: For both members or Indian Forest Service and Scicntist Working experience or Pcrsonnel/Administrativc/Financial matters at senior level InThe Government or similar Research/Educalional organization. Experience in preparation or budget and its Control, maintenance or organizational accounts. Conversant with all Government Rules and Regulations regarding linancial and administrative matters or the Govcrnment/Autonomous bodies including audit or Accounts.

Consolidated Pay/Pay-Scale - Level 13 in the pay matrix as per 7th CPC. 

Age Limit:Age:-Not exceeding 57 years as On 30.09.2020

The Government of Mysore had set up a Forest Research Laboratory (FRL) at Bangalore in 1938. In the initial years, work was carried out mainly on properties and uses of different timber species, essential oils, other non-wood forest products and protection of wood and trees from pests and diseases. In 1956, this laboratory was organised as a regional centre of Forest Research Institute and Colleges, Dehra Dun. In 1977, Sandal Research Centre was set up to undertake research on wide-ranging aspects of genetics, silviculture and management of sandal, a valuable tree well distributed all over Southern India.
