Job Description

1. Name of the Post: Deputy Director.

2. No of Post: 4 vacancies tentative

3. General Central Service (Group 'A'), Gazetted Non-Ministerial, Level 13A (Rs.1,31,100 - Rs. 2,16,600) in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC

4. Eligibility for deputation: Mandatory - Officers of Central Government or State Governments or Union Territories including All India Service other than Indian Police Service

(a) holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; and

(b) possessing the following educational qualifications and experience:

(i) Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university;

(ii) Five years' experience in intelligence work.

5. Desirable: Officers applying for the post should:

(i) be motivated enough to take up challenging tasks,

(ii) be capable of supervising over 400 officers,

(iii) have high level of integrity,

(iv) have outstanding communication skills, especially in writing,

(v) have previous work experience in Financial Management or Immigration work or intelligence and policy matters.

(vi) have done NDC or equivalent course from India or abroad

Age Limit:
The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall not be exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of application.
