Qualification :  1. Possess a Post-Graduate Degree in Ayurveda obtained from any of the Ayurveda Universities established or incorporated by or Under the Central or State Act in India; or any other Educational Institution recognised as such or declared to be deemed as a University Under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act,1956; and recognised by the Central Council of Indian Medicine; 2. Possess the basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules,1967; 3. Have adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.

Experience :  1. Have about Five years experience on the post not below the rank of Resident Medical Officer (Ayurveda), Class 2 or Medical Officer (Ayurveda), Class 2, in the Gujarat Ayurveda Service in the Government Ayurveda Hospital or Dispensary; or 2. Have about five years clinical experience in the Government undertaking hospital / Dispensary or private (except self / owned managed hospital) / Charitable Ayurved Hospital / Dispensary or Grant-in-aid Ayurveda Hospital / Dispensary on the post which can be considered equivalent to the post not below the rank of Resident Medical Officer (Ayurveda) or Medical Officer (Ayurveda), Class 2 in the Gujarat Ayurveda Services under the Directorate of Indian System of Medicine and Homoeopathy.

Pay Scale :  Pay Rs. 67700 - 208700 (Pay Matrix Level-11)

Age Limit :   Minimum Age:- Must have completed 21 years on the last date of Advertisement. Maximum Age:- Must not have completed 42 years on the last date of Advertisement Age will be calculated on the last date of the receipt of application.
