Job Description

Responsibilities
General:

Ensure the quality of the product with respect to engineering activities.
Ensuring the system followed wherever it’s necessary.
Ensure continues improvement on products with respect to customer feedback as well as internal team expertise.
Resource planning for customized system and reassigning and distributing the work with respect to the individual skill set.
Assess the External and cross functional training requirement for the individuals of engineering team.
Objective setting and Performance management of the team members.
Training / Induction for new personnel for engineering team.
Manage the external resource adequately as and when required.
Solving critical design issues / constraints by giving innovative solutions & ensures that product conforms to requirements
Ensuring specifications, standards, principles related to mechanical engineering used in design & drawings and released to fabrication.
Handling the CAPA tasks.
Follow the ISO standard.
ERP- Material Master, Engineering Information providing to ERP.
Sales and Estimation
Support to Estimation team for budgetary costing at the offer stage for enquiries.
Support to Estimation team for design inputs, GA related to complete engineering solution.
Support to sales team, customer visits if necessary for any clarifications during pre-sales stage for Engineering clarification
Standard Products
Ensuring ASME- BPVC Standard is followed based on the Customer requirement.
Ensuring ISO 9001-2008 standards are followed.
Resource planning for 3D & 2D design for customized system along with the team & Sr. Design engineer.
Getting relevant information regarding component datasheets for 3D library & Co-ordination in design calculations with design engineers.
Organizing & preparation of check lists for 3D & 2D design & manufacturing drawings release with necessary inputs..
3D verification at initial stage, mid & final stages.
Design BOM preparation as per the Plan.
