- London based Fashion House wants Fashion Designer, New Delhi based
- We are based out of London, UK. We have our workshop in New Delhi.
- We are looking to hire a designer for the above mentioned London based Indian/ethnic fashion label.
- Job based in New Delhi (South Delhi).
- The selected candidate should have the skills to be adaptive to client requirement, independent, self-motivated & ready to work in a workshop environment.
- You are expected to have Good Design knowledge, Ability to handle Sampling and Production, Target oriented, Good communication, Innovative skills and is comfortable using designing software's.
- Should be able to sketch, create samples for embroidery designs, should be able to coordinate with production and go to the market and research for new designs & concepts.
- Managing sampling unit of tailors & Pattern master.
- Creating or Visualizing an idea and producing designs.
- Keeping up to date with vintage/ retro / emerging fashion trends as well as general trends in India.
- Understanding design from a technical perspective, i.e. producing patterns and technical specifications for designs.
- Sourcing, selecting and buying fabrics, trims, fastenings and embellishments.
- By creating these assets alongside your apparel products, we ensure strong visual cohesion throughout every aspect of your brand.
- Responsible to create unique and yet saleable designs to attract more consumers in order to increase sales.
- Software skills are important.
