Job Summary

•  To support and do enhancements to Mobile App for Android.
• Functions may include acting as lead web developer and lead iOS and/ or Android developer, gathering requirements around functionality and translating those requirements into simple but effective web and mobile solutions, designing mobile user interfaces, developing and maintaining websites, enhancing web/mobile user experience.

 Android:

• Excellent knowledge in core Java
  
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
• Hands on experience in the full life cycle of Android application development
• Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
• Familiarity with Restful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
• Push Notifications & Toast
• Eclipse & ANT based build system
• Android Studio
• Experience in Gradle
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
• Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces, such as “touch”
• Familiarity with the use of additional sensors, such as gyroscopes and accelerometers
• Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
• A knack for benchmarking and optimization
• Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Familiarity with continuous integration

Good To Have:

• Experience in Payment gateway integration in mobile apps is a big plus
• A portfolio of iOS/Android apps in the Play Store/app store is a plus
• Hands on experience with Android studio & gradle build system

• Knowledge of PHP
• Ability to write Simple/ Intermediate level SQL Queries

 Responsibilities and Duties

• Deliver across the entire app life cycle –concept, design, build, deploy, test, release to app stores and support.
  
• Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code
• Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable Java code
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
• Build prototypes at tech scoping stage of projects
• Working along the web developers to create and maintain a robust framework to support the apps/web
• Working with the front end developers to build the interface with focus on usability features
• Create compelling mobile device specific user interfaces and experiences
• Optimizing performance for the apps /web
• Keep up to date on the latest industry trends in the mobile/web technologies

 Qualification and Skills

  Required Education

•  Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in IT and Computer Science/Diploma and certificate Course in JAVA or Android Base
  
• Work Experience:Minimum 2 Years
• Proven development experience in desktop and mobile web development.
• Excellent knowledge in information architecture, human computer interaction and mobile usability design
• Self-motivated,
