DevOps Manager / IT Manager Jobs in Bangalore - Jamcracker Software Technologies

Position Description:

• DevOps Manager will manage the ITOperations and work closely with technical team to analyze, design, implement, validate and improve strategies for continuous integration testing and deployments. 
  
• He will also lead initiatives such as Application / Data Center Migration from the internal data center to a cloud or among clouds. 
• Focus will be on automation of all such tasks.   
• He will work closely with core engineering to productize many of the best practices adopted for continuous integration, deployments and application migrations.
• This position will require close interaction with all internal and external stakeholders/customers.

•  Lead the transformation to a complete DevOps organization and make continuous enhancement to make infrastructure efficient and cost effective
• Develop a culture of innovation in the team and drive automation to the core ensuring quality and efficiency of deliverables

•  7-8 years of total experience in IT industry with expertise in transitioning to DevOps organization
• Strong technical background in Infrastructure domains such as Network, Compute, Database and Deployments
  
• Ability to manage a small team of DevOps engineers
  
• Has working experience in Cloud and Datacenter Operations management (based on Openstack, VMware/VCloud, AWS, Azure etc.,)
  
• Proven experience in driving automation efforts in IT Operations – Can be Chef/Puppet/Python etc.
  
• 1+ year  experience  in automating  infrastructure and operations activities  to maximize reliability, availability, scalability, and performance
  
• 2+ years on experience in continuous software integration, testing and deployments
  
• Technical expertise in systems architecture, system administration and troubleshooting in Linux environment
  
• Expertise in setting up monitoring tools like Nagios, Zabbix, Cacti, Zenoss etc.,
  
• Experience in working with customer/vendors on technical front
  
• Educational requirements:
  
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math or Engineering
