Job Description
Key Responsibilities Lead the Sales & Marketing function for Automotive Division ( Engine Components, Turbochargers, Fuel Systems & Safety Components) with focus on growth and profitability Take responsibility for market research & Intelligence as an input for developing sales strategy Have a clear road map for development of new customers / new applications / new segments which will be an enabler for achieving targeted turnover Develop and implement actions for market penetration of focused products Continuously explore new business avenues for business growth based on an understanding of Indo Schottle capabilities Establish and maintain a customer base of key customers across different segments and product Portfolios Focus on acquisition of new business through obtaining relevant RFQs from potential and existing customers. Work closely with Engineering team for RFQ management and tracking Develop the pricing strategy for the automotive business with a view to improve margins while maintaining competitiveness Take responsibility for timely Sales MIS and Reporting Manage Sales forecasting and planning process in conjunction with cross functional teams Drive Customer Relationship and Key Account Management Work closely with multiple stakeholders internally for delivering customer requirements Track customer satisfaction through periodic meetings Mentor and guide Sales team to achieve departmental objectives Build a positive brand reputation for Indo Schottle among Automotive OEMs and customers Ensure timely collections and receivables management Job Requirements B.E. Mechanical / Production preferably with MBA Experience of Business Development & Marketing with ability to have technical discussions Knowledge of Automotive business with exposure to auto components sector Expert Knowledge in any one segment: Engine Components/Fuel Systems/Turbochargers Experience of Key Account Management Comfortable in handling national and international customers Excellent negotiation and persuasive skills Self-driven person with initiative Assertiveness and ability to deal with complex situations Good communication skills Effective and timely execution of agreed plans
