Assistant Professor/ Accompanist in Theatre Arts Job vacancies in Dibrugarh University on temporary & contract basis
1. Assistant Professor in Vocal Music
No. of Post : 01
Qualification : The candidate must posses uniformly good academic record with at least 55% of marks. The candidate must be an M.A. in performing Arts (Vocal Music)/Master in Musicology having profound knowledge in Indian Classical Music and Indian Tala system
2. Assistant Professor in Vocal Music
No. of Post : 01
'Qualification : The candidate must posses uniformly good academic record with at least 55% of marks. The candidate must be an M.A. in performing Arts (Vocal Music)/Master in Musicology having profound knowledge in folksong, traditional Assamese songs especially Bargeet and Modern Assamese songs.
3. Assistant Professor in Sattriya Dance
No. of Post : 01
Qualification: The candidate must possess uniformly good academic record with at least 55% of marks. The candidate must be M.A in Performing Arts(Sattriya Dance) with Bharatnatyam as special domain. Preference will be given to the NET/SLET qualified candidates.
4. Accompanist in Theatre Arts (Physical Instructor)
No. of Post : 01
Qualification : The candidate must possess uniformly good academic record with at least 55% of marks. He/she must be M.A in Performing Arts (Theatre Art) having profound knowledge in the domain of Physical exercise including yoga, mati akhara, general aerobics and body movement. He/she should also have experience on acting and threatre production.
Remuneration : Rs. 25,000/- per month (Consolidated). [for those who have either NET/SLET or Ph.D.] and Rs. 20,000/- per month (Consolidated) [For those without NET/SLET or Ph.D.] [ for Post No. (1), Post No. (2) and Post No. (3)] and Rs. 8,000/- for Post No. (4)]
Application Fee : Candidate shall be required to pay an amount of Rupees Two Hundred (Rs. 200/-) only as Registration Fee.
