Kyndryl is a new brand with a fresh style designed to stand out in a crowded and competitive marketplace. The Digital Designer at Kyndryl will be responsible for creating graphics, selecting and optimizing images, and using visuals to complement and enhance the digital brand experience through the kyndryl.com website. The designer will understand brand expression across all channels and serve as a visual interpreter of the brand within the digital context. The role will interface with writers, digital strategists, developers, QA professionals, and other marketing and brand constituents to create visually stunning, fully optimized desktop and mobile experiences.

Your Role and Responsibilities

The designer will understand brand expression across all channels and serve as a visual interpreter of the brand within the digital context. The role will interface with writers, digital strategists, developers, QA professionals, and other marketing and brand constituents to create visually stunning, fully optimized desktop and mobile experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Graphic Design
- Design and deliver graphics for use across Kyndryl.com web experience, with a focus on marketing content
- Design in multiple media formats: photo imagery, illustration and vector-based imagery, simple animations, video banners and leadspaces
- Define requirements, visualize and create graphics including illustrations, bumpers, photo edits and overlays, backgrounds, layouts, and digital promos and ads
- Optimize imagery for fast load times and most optimal performance across device types and platforms
- Collaborate with brand team, content team, digital strategists, paid media strategists, and other marketing constituents to visually complement and enhance storytelling
- Prepare web page layouts for marketing pages, blog posts, search capture pages, campaign landing pages, registration pages, form designs, and other digital assets
- Communicate design ideas using user flows, process flows, grids, site maps, and wireframes
- Collaborate with developers to move from concepts to final published content
- Work with digital design lead to establish design guidelines, standards, and best practices
- Present design ideas and concepts to constituent teams across organization
- Understanding of screen sizes, device requirements, SEO requirements and tagging (including image searches)
- Familiarity with accessibility standards, contrast measurement tools, testing, image libraries
- Ability to source images from royalty-free and licensed vendors that align to brand guidelines and standards and enhance and enrich the site experience
- Sensitivity to cultural representation in image selection
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Strong experience in design tools and platforms, including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Invision, Sketch, and other design, video and animations tools
- Strong collaboration skills across multiple teams and sources of design requirements
- Flexibility and adaptability to a fluid, hard-driving organization
- Eagerness to deliver design elements and experiences that delight and help the Kyndryl brand stand out amongst its competitors
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- 5+ years’ experience as Digital Designer
