Digital Marketing Specialist Job Description:

A digital marketer is responsible for looking into the online marketing strategies for an organization. They plan and execute marketing campaigns, and maintain and supply content for the organization’s website.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage digital marketing campaigns.

• Oversee a social media strategy.

• Write and optimise content for the website and social networking accounts such as Facebook and Twitter.

• Edit and post videos, podcasts and audio content to online sites

• Write copy for email marketing campaigns and execute them

• Work on various internal and external marketing programs and provide new out of the box suggestions for improvement

• Provide SEO recommendations

• Research competitors and provide suggestions for improvement

• Forecast marketing campaign growth and ROI for marketing campaigns

• Keep abreast of new social media sites, web technologies, and digital marketing trends; implement these new technologies in developing campaigns and update current campaigns to include new information

Requirements:

• 2-3 Yrs of relevant experience

• Preferred experience in strategic marketing and digital initiatives.

• Good knowledge and experience with online marketing tools and best practices.

• Demonstrated experience with email marketing, social media marketing, lead generation and SEO.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Familiarity with web design and development.

• Bachelors/Masters degree or related field preferred.
