Director Silicon Design Engineering - 72946
LOCATION: Hyderabad or Bangalore, India
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Directs the design and development of SOCs from concept to tape-out and manages the Si support from validation to production
- Manages the functional teams for Design, DFx, Verification and Physical Design
- Plans and directs the chip definition, budget and schedule with the architecture and IP teams
- Monitors the project team coordination from initiation through delivery.
- Responsible for ensuring the completion of the SOC Chip on schedule and within budget constraints, meeting all the POR requirements.
- Responsible for mentoring and grow the team
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Experience leading broad/diverse SOC engineering teams
- Expertise in ASIC design fundamentals and the chip development process
- Acts independently to achieve schedule and design requirements
- Proven Project Management capabilities
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- Engineering degree from accredited university
- MSEE/MSCE - Master level education required
