Senior Research Fellow / 01
Qualification: M. Sc.(Ag.) (Plant Physiology/ Bio Technology/Soil Science/ Agricultural Microbiology) with 4/5 years bachelor’s degree or M.S.c. Basic Science with specialization in Plant Physiology or Microbiology with three years bachelor’s degree science + NET qualification. + 2 years research experience.Desirable: Knowledge in computer operations
Pay Scale : Rs.25000/-pm consolidate (Fixed 1st & 2nd year) & Rs.28000/- pm consolidate for 3rd year + 10% HRA
Project: Out Reach Programme on Sucking
Senior Research Fellow / 01Post
Qualification: M.Sc. (Agri.) in Entomology or Plant Pathology, Agri Biotechnology with 4/5 years bachelor’s degree Or M.Sc. Zoology / Botany with specialization in Entomology Or Plant Pathology evident from their thesis/ Dissertation, M.Sc. (Biotechnology) NET qualification. + 2 year research experience is essential for candidate having 3 years bachelor degree. Desirable: Experience in Molecular Biology Techniques.

About Company
Onion and garlic are the world famous spice commodities used for flavouring the dishes. Besides culinary purposes, these are considered valuable medicinal plants. The fungicidal and insecticidal properties of garlic are well established. Dehydrated powder & flakes and paste prepared out of onion and garlic provide rich agro-industrial base for these commodities. Realizing the importance of onion and garlic in the country, ICAR established National Research Centre for Onion and Garlic in VIII Plan with its headquarter at Nasik in 1994. However, due to some working constraints, the Centre was shifted to Rajgurunagar on 16 June 1998.
