  • Computer skills – accuracy, MS products, AS400, web-based programs
  • Demonstrated customer relationship skills
  • Able to work deadlines in a high transactional environment

  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to respond to demands calmly.
  • Ability to work independently; a self-starter
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to implement proactive solutions to support operational demands and efficiencies.
  • Ability to work a flexible work schedule

  • Ensure accurate reporting.
  • Train workers in duties and policies
  • Arrange for daily deliveries, assign pick up requests, and enter orders in the computer
  • Set up appointment freight, manifest shipments, coordinate, check for expedited shipments and enter missed pick-ups
  • Answer phones and take pick-up requests
  • book loads with carriers
  • Coordinate with carriers
  • Identify areas for improvement and efficiencies
  • Other related duties as may be required
