Job Description
- The Magento Developer position will initially work alongside our partner to turn up our Magento 2.x ecommerce site and manage it moving forward.
- In addition to Magento, the ideal candidate will be able to assist with our InRiver PIM system, API’s, SQL databases and all other areas that revolve around the ecommerce site.
Basic Requirements:
- 3+ years PHP development
- Proven experience with Magento and 3rd Party APIs preferred (2+ years).
- Magento 1 & 2.x experience is a plus.
- Competent with MySQL-based database concepts
- Solid understanding and hands on experience with web services integrations (REST & SOAP)
- Experience with caching and scaling techniques
- Solid problem solving skills
- Competent knowledge of e-commerce data organization and relationships
- Mobile application development experience
- Store catalog (categories/products/attributes)
- Sales orders (quotes/orders/invoices/shipments/credits)
- Proficiency with PHP and MySQL
- Proficiency with database schema design
- Unit testing/API testing experience, creating test plans
- Replication/Failover/Load-balanced environments
- Experience optimizing and refactoring application code
- Have experience optimizing web server configurations and scaling web applications
- A desire to be personally responsible for production-level code
