Job Description
- Job Title : E-Support Engineer
- 2nd line product support towards OEM DFE partners and distributors.
- First line product support via Chat and email.
- Main responsibility is to provide the needed support for our OEM partners, this implies the following:
- Take calls from the OEM partners, diagnose the reported problems, solve problems in a fast, cost-effective and efficient way and keep the initiator informed.
- Bugs need to be reproduced and sent to R&D
- Add articles to KB
- Provide online remote support to Esko customers worldwide.
- Actively participate in all internal training sessions for personal development, assist in cross-functional training and peer development
- Must be able to work independently and also take or give direction and interact positively with team members
- Effectively communicate and interact with a variety of internal & external customers.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
- 0-3 years of experience in Customer support activities
- Education: Graduate-BCA-B.Sc Computers Or Diploma in Computers or equivalent through practical experience
- Knowledge of Esko products such as DeskPack, Automation Engine, Licensing, GraphicalEditor (Adobe Creative Suite) and relevant third party software is a plus
- Programming languages: Is not a must but a bonus (html, xml, flash, java)
- Use and understand computers with Windows and Macintosh (Apple) operating systems
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
- Possess good organizational and administrative skills.
- Exhibits a stable, positive and professional daily disposition
- Controls ego and presents a positive and professional team attitude
- Presents requests in a timely, respectful and business-like manner
- Acts promptly on all requests
- Exhibits and practices Team values
- Display high ethics, character and commitment to the business
