Cultural Quota for the year 2016-17 recruitment in East Central Railway

No. of Posts : Male Actor for drama-01, Male Singer (Sugam Sangeet)-01 post

Qualification : For technician-III, matriculation or its equivalent with ITI in relevant trade (Recognized by SCVT, NCVT) and for other posts, 12th or its equivalent with 50% marks in aggregate. The compulsion of 50% marks in aggregate will not be insisted upon in case of SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen candidates (ii) Candidate should possess Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Drama/Music from Government recognized Institute.

Desirable : Experience in the field and performance given on All India Radio/Doordarshan etc., (ii) Prizes won at National level

Scale of Pay : Rs. 5200-20200

Age : 18-32 yrs

Recruitment Process : The eligible candidates will be assessed on the following basis. (A) Written Test consisting of 50 objective type questions-50 marks (B) Assessment of talent in the relevant field: (i) On the basis of practical demonstration-35 marks (ii) On the basis of Testimonials/Prizes etc-15 marks. (Total 100 marks)

Examination Fee : (i) For all candidates except those mentioned in sub-pare (ii) below: Rs.500/-(Rupees Five Hundred only). (ii) For candidates belonging to SC/ST/Ex-servicemen/Persons with disabilities (PWDs), Women, Minorities and Economically Backward Classes: Rs-250/-(Rs. Two Hundred Fitly only), which will be refunded to those candidates who actually appear in the written examination. Fee will be in the form of Indian Postal Order (IPO), drawn in favour of Senior Personnel Officer, RRC, N.E. Railway, payable at Gorakhpur. IPOs issued before the date of issue of this Employment Notice will not be accepted and the Application form will be rejected. Applications received with fee in the form of Demand draft/Cash/Cheque/Central Recruitment Fee Stamps and Money Orders will not be accepted and application form will be REJECTED. Candidates must write their name and full address at the space provided in the postal order. Save as stated above, the examination fee is not refundable/ transferable/ adjustable under any circumstances.
