Job Description
About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Editing op-ed's e-newsletters (50%) and reporting to the advocacy director & communications director
2. Serving as the lead author and editor for op-ed's newsletters, editing for content, length, and style, and managing all steps of the publication process
3. Overseeing a team of interns who contribute newsletter content
4. Working with advocacy and communications teams to ensure timely publication
5. Helping to manage newsletter mailing lists and expanding subscribers and readership
6. Editing op-ed's research publications (50%) and reporting to the deputy director for research
7. Assisting with all stages of the editorial process for research publications, including editing for length, content, accuracy, and style; fact-checking; and copyediting
8. Following relevant developments in the region, in U.S. policy, and in the debates of the Washington policy community to help identify publication topics and authors for op-ed
9. Contributing to outreach and publicity for publications
10. Conducting occasional research in support of the research program and other op-ed activities

Who can apply
Only those candidates can apply who:
1. are available for full time (in-office) internship
2. can start the internship between 6th May'21 and 10th Jun'21
3. are available for duration of 6 months
4. have relevant skills and interests
Other requirements
1. Candidates must have a relevant Ph.D. degree
